Watson announced that Colt Chambers will be receiving the NuCountry Award of Excellence at the 2012 CMA Music Festival in Nashville, TN. Colt is extremely honored. Arts Festival!
Hey Y’all!
It’s Colt.. I haven’t posted in awhile. Just sending out an update. It’s 12:11AM EST and I just finished up my set list for this afternoon. Whew! haha. I will be performing at the 48th Annual Cedar Valley Arts Festival in Cedartown, GA. I am super excited. The festival is put-on by the Cedartown Junior Service League, who also put on the Follies musical every four years. This year happened to be a Follies year, and I was so glad to have a role in the musical, “Cedarvania Mania,” written and directed by, my friend, Roland Chandler. It’s going to be great seeing my Follies friend and family tomorrow. Hope to see y’all out!

Album Campaign End
Hey Y’all,
I just wanted to inform everyone that my album campaign ended on March 31, and although I did not reach my goal, I am so extremely excited for the money I did raise. I plan to get into the studio in the next few weeks to start recording the project! Stay Tuned!

Colt Chambers, 16, is nominated for the Georgia Music Awards “Best Youth Solo Artist” in the country genre.
On March 9, Chambers attended the Georgia Music Awards Nominee Announcement Party at the Gold Room in Buckhead. Chambers found out he was an official nominee for the Georgia Music Award.
The Georgia Music Awards specializes in promoting the best in Georgia music. The categories for the Georgia Music Awards are R&B, hip-hop, country, bluegrass, jazz, DJ, producer, music video, and more. Each nominee was nominated by their fan base and subjected to a peer review to determine who best represents the category.
Voting for the Georgia Music Awards starts in April, followed by the official Georgia Music Awards show scheduled on June 16, 2012 at the Buckhead Theatre.
Chambers also announced a new album debuting in 2012.
